When you install and use the application, upon accepting these terms, registration emails may be sent or you may be required to register manually. We collect the following information when you use the app:

• Mobile device hardware information
• Unique device ID
• Mobile operating system information
• Device ID (used to enable push notification functionality)

Many of our services require us to collect images and other information from your device's camera and photo library. We will access your camera and photos only after you grant explicit consent.

• Images are sent to our server only if you actively select them.
• No automatic uploads or background camera use will occur.
• Uploaded images are shared with parents within the school community only and will not be shared with any third parties.

We may collect and use your location data to provide certain features of the app, such as real-time bus tracking. This may include both precise (GPS) and approximate location information.

• Location data is used solely to improve app functionality and student safety.
• Location data is not shared with any third parties.
• You can enable or disable location services at any time through your device settings.

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by applicable law. The table below outlines retention periods for each data type.

After the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised so that it can no longer be associated with you.

What happens after your request

1. We verify your identity to protect against unauthorised deletion requests.
2. Your personal data is permanently deleted or anonymised from our active systems within 30 days.
3. Residual copies in encrypted backups are removed within 90 days.
4. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

Please note that we may retain certain data as required by law, for fraud prevention, or to resolve disputes, even after a deletion request is received. You will be notified if any such exception applies.

The app requests the following Android location permissions to fetch real-time school bus location for the security and safety of students in the transportation module:

These permissions are used exclusively to display live bus location to authorised parents and school staff. No location data is shared with third parties.
